Sylvie Boruchowicz

Sylvie Boruchowicz was born in San Jose, Costa Rica and now resides in Miami Fl.
Early on Sylvie realized her passions were Art, Food, Design and Architecture. She earned her Bachelors of Fine Arts specializing in Architectural Design from the Massachusetts College of Art (MassArt) in 2006 in Boston. She started working in New York City in a small Design-Build Firm, where she quickly rose to Junior Architect and Project Manager, working in several fields including Residential Renovations, Medical Practices, Beauty and Retail Locations and providing Survey and Design Services to several Real Estate Firms in the City.
In 2008 she left the Firm to attain her master´s degree from Pratt Institute in New York. Her Master in Architecture was completed in 2011.
After becoming a mom, Sylvie started developing individual projects for her much esteemed clients in Miami.
In 2015, she established Studio SBD with the goal of giving life to her client´s unique wishes and lifestyle in each space she designs.
Our Philosophy
Every single one of our projects starts with our most important goal: establishing a strong relationship with our clients. We take the time to get to know them personally, as well as evaluate the list of things they want to achieve at the completion of their project.
Once we get to really know our clients we are able to apply our creative principles to produce places and spaces that are completely tailored to our client’s life and needs.
Our goal is to improve our clients lives through Design, hence our saying: “Live beautiful”.
This does not only apply to the way something looks, but how it functions, the way it feels, and how it can completely transform the way we live.
